Prerequisit
Before MnyBank setup you have to install:
- Microsoft framework .NET 1.1,
- Microsoft JET 4.0,
- The last version of Microsoft MDAC componant.
MnyBank Setup
In case of upgrade you have to uninstall the previous version of MnyBank with the configuration panel (Add/Remove programms). The uninstall process will delete the files in the "Program files\Alain Ferraro\MnyBank" directory. If your current archive database (Ofx.mdb) and/or your current config file (Config.xml) are in this directory, make a backup copy before uninstall MnyBank.
The Setup program within the distribution package copies the program files in the directory "Program files\Alain Ferraro\MnyBank". Among these files are Config.xml and Ofx.mdb files, used as model files. Don't use this files in this directory, they have to be copied in a private directory.
Each user on the same computer has his own configuration data in the folder "My documents\MnyBank" where the folowing files are copied:
- Config.xml : file for financial files processing,
- Config.xsl : file to convert Config.xml file to HTML for Internet Explorer display,
- Ofx.mdb : archive database,
- Ofx.xsl : file to convert OFX V2 (xml) file to HTML format for Internet Explorer display,
- Ofc.css : style sheet for Internet Explorer display,
- OfxDefault.xml : setting for QIF files processing.
All these files must be backed up if you don't want to looze your configuration data.
Les informations de configuration générales du programme sont enregistrées dans le registre dans la clé "Curent User" (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alain Ferraro\MnyBank), ce qui permet à chaque utilisateur d'avoir sa propre configuration. Lors de la désinstallation les informations contenues dans cette clé ne sont pas effacées.
The file paths to Config.xml and Ofx.mdb files are
stored in Windows registry. To move this files it's suggested:
- to copy Config.xml and Ofx.mdb to the new directory
- to modify settings in MnyBank tools menu Tools/Settings.
